KENJI started drumming in 2000 in Japan. He is orginally from Tokyo where he discovered his passion of drumming. His expertise is in Djembe which is the most popular African drum. He went to explore the world of drum for 1 year in Australia. He attended and observed many drumming schools in Australia and had an opportunity to play with Mady Keita, a famous African drummer. Kenji moved to Bangkok in 2004 opening a mini mart and Thai restaurant in Pathumthani. Now he is working with one the most famous Japanese entertainment blog company in Bangkok.

He is co-teaching drum circle at rumPUREE and developing a curriculum for leaderships and team building using hand drum as a tool. He will be performing at Dance the World in One Day 2008.

Rum Puree Dance Studio offers classes in New York Salsa, Belly Dance, Afro-Caribbean, African Dance, Jazz, Hip Hop, Thai Traditional & Folk Dance, Dance Hall, Cha Cha, Merengue, Carnival Samba, Zouk, Samba de Gafieira (Bossa Nova), Argentine Tango, Striptease, Body Stretching for children, teens and adults.
