WHAT IS DRUM CIRCLE?
A drum circle is any group of people playing (usually) hand-drums and percussion in a circle. Other instruments and dance can also be incorporated into the drum circle. They can range in size from a handful of players to circles with thousands of participants. At rumPUREE what we focus will be African Drum (Djembe) and Middle Eastern Drum (Durbuka or Dumbek).
WHAT IS THE OUTREACH PROJECT?
This is a project that rumPUREE would like to share with public audiences in the community. Drummers will get together and play drums at Khaosan Road (near Chana Songkram Police Station every Sunday from 9:30pm onward. If you are interested in, please bring your drum and join us or call Luis at 081-439-0200 for exact location.
BENEFIT OF DRUMMING
Learning how to play hand drums is very good for increase your focus and concentration level. In addition, you learn how to release your stress, practice your discipline, and learn how to work with others as a group.
