ABOUT ANTON
Anton Berchenko is an experienced and accomplished dancer from Chile of Russian descent with a French soul. Anton has been blessed with the opportunity to learn from his mother, professional dancer. At a young age he mastered South American dances (Salsa, Brazilian Samba, Argentine Tango) and continued on to learn various dance form such as Jazz, Hip-hop, Swing and Tap dancing. Anton's teaching reflects his understanding of the general theories of dancing and it's translation into personal style and expressiveness. He presents well structured classes that are designed to help the students find their own expression, combining fundamentals with creativity. Anton has been invited to teach and perform in various countries such as France, Germany, Spain, Morocco, India, China, Korea, Vietnam, Philippines, and Thailand. Anton is also the director of the Cachimbo Dance Company, the founder of Studio Cachimbo in Paris and the organizer of the first Salsa Congress in Shanghai. He is currently residing in China teaching classes and spreading his passion for dancing throughout the country.
