ABOUT FATIMA
Fatima Serin war born and grew up in South East Turkey, where she already had her first experiences with Turkish folklore dancing. In her teenager years she moved with her family to Germany, where she lives up until today. Soon she began to pursue her career as mideastern dancer (bellydancer).
She has studied with some of the greatest names in bellydance scene, among these were stars like Nesrin Topkapi, Raqia Hassan, Ibrahim Akef, Mahmouda Reda, Farida Fahmi, Dinah, Randa Kamel and many more. Her bellydance career leads her to live several months in countries such as Egypt, Turkey, Tunesia, Morocca, Thailand, India, etc.
She is not only a dancer but also an established choreographer and teacher for all kind of Mid-Eastern dances.
Fatima is running her own dance school in Saarbrücken (with appr. 300 students). She also is the organizer and founder of the annual Merhaba Dance Festival, which is an established bellydance event in Germany.
She has performed in front of illustrious guests from influencial sheiks of Dubai to the king and queen of Thailand, as well as in several TV programs in Europe, Turkey and Thailand.

MODERN TURKISH STYLE BELLYDANCE - All Level

Turkish Style Bellydance is one of the most popular Bellydance styles in the world. This workshop is open to dancers at all level even first time learner. Students will learn signature movements and dance combinations that is a unique character to Turkish Style Bellydance.
MANY FACES OF BELLYDANCE - Advanced Beginner to Intermediate
Sunday January 10, 2010 (3:00pm-6:00pm)
THB 2,100 at door (THB 1,800 before January 5th)
This workshop is designed for dancers who would like to expand dance knowledge to other Middle Eastern Folkloric dances. Fatima will teach the following dance styles: Khaleegy (Saudi Arabian Dance), Kurdish Folklore, and Roman Havasi (Turkish Gipsy). Students will learn background knowledge of each dance, music, steps and movements in order to develop their own style of Bellydance.
